Rights & Responsibilities

You have a right to be seen by a practitioner of your choice. You also have the right to be seen by a doctor within 48hrs of your request, however we cannot guarantee that this will be the practitioner of your choice.

In return we expect you to treat the staff and the GP’s with courtesy and respect and to inform us if you are not able to attend an appointment so that it can be offered to another patient.

At Highfield Health Centre we aim to treat our patients promptly, courteously and confidentially. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.

We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way. We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients. If a patient is violent or abusive, they will be warned to stop that behaviour. If they persist, we will exercise our right to take action to have them removed,
